OverviewThe Manager of Risk Management is responsible for supporting activities that assess, measure, and plan to reduce risk, injury, and loss. This includes coordinating insurance programs with the Health System Risk & Insurance Department and supporting the development, implementation, and effective functioning of PSJH PVH and HH risk management activities. The role coordinates risk management actions to reduce the incidence and magnitude of damage claims against the institutions and supports risk identification, data collection, analysis, and reporting. The position oversees ongoing activities related to the development, maintenance, and adherence to the organization/'s policies and procedures, including privacy and protection of patient health information in compliance with federal and state laws. The Manager of Risk Management investigates patient care issues. Successful outcomes depend on fostering strong, positive, mature, and collaborative relationships with all departments, the Director of Quality, Excellence, the Executive Leadership Team, and the Medical Staff.
