OverviewC.H. Robinson is hiring a Carrier Accounts Payable Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth financial operations by resolving payable issues, releasing payments, and providing outstanding service to both our partners and internal teams. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and brings strong problem-solving skills to the table.Location and ScheduleIf you are located in Iowa, you can work fully remote.If you are located in Chicago, IL or Eden Prairie, MN, this role follows a hybrid schedule with two days in the office and three days from home.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:Leverage systems and processes to resolve payable issues daily and meet quality standardsRelease direct payments to carriers and invoices to customersApply critical thinking to resolve open payables questions with partnersMake timely, sound decisions while managing competing prioritiesEscalate complex issues to senior team members or leadership when neededSuggest and support process improvements to drive efficiencyBuild strong relationships with internal and external partners, providing professional and timely serviceContinue developing skills and expanding knowledge of direct payables processesCollaborate with your team and provide backup support as neededPerform additional duties as assigned based on team and country requirementsQualificationsRequired:High School Diploma or GED equivalentMinimum 1 year of data entry experienceMinimum 1 year of strong customer service experience leveraging written and verbal communication skillsPreferred:Experience with Jira or NavisphereExperience with Triumph systemProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a high-volume, professional environmentCritical thinking and decision-making skillsPositive, professional attitude with a customer-first mindsetSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyExperience managing conflict and sensitive topics with professionalismCommitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environmentWe will review applications for this role on an ongoing basis and encourage all interested candidates to apply at their earliest pensation Range$16.11 - $33.46The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
