Memory speeds have failed to keep pace with improvements in CPU processing speeds, resulting in buffering delays encountered in highly intensive computing environments. Netlist's memory subsystems and intelligent controller technology address the industry's growing need for high-speed data management and analytics.Position OverviewNetlist seeks a Vice President of Sales to join its Executive Team to lead the company through its next exciting growth phase. This person will establish and grow customer relationships by building a strong "hunter" sales team, focusing on the tier 2 cloud service provider (CSP) market.S/he/they will develop a strategic sales plan to segment Netlist's market, identify new customer opportunities, and guide the organization on how to work together to capture new customers. The role involves overseeing the development and implementation of robust sales processes to support the sales team and collaborate with other organizational units. The Vice President of Sales will be a trusted advisor to the executive team, sales team, strategic customers, and partners, leading transparently by sharing key goals and metrics and holding the organization and individuals accountable for delivering results.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesBusinessDevelop a market map of potential new customer opportunities and establish strategic account plans to capture new customers and deepen existing relationships.Achieve all quarterly revenue targets and monthly goals.Develop, maintain, and expand strategic customer relationships.Participate in closing strategic opportunities.Engage actively in territory planning and opportunity development.Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity to refine sales and business strategies and plans.PeopleBuild a sales organization capable of succeeding in complex sales, with a high customer orientation, focusing on both hunting for new customers and growing current revenue.Hold oneself and the organization accountable for meeting or exceeding expectations.Coach, mentor, and develop the global sales team through experiential learning, status reviews, and regular one-on-one interactions.Quote, negotiate, and assist in closing highly complex transactions by developing executive-level relationships with key prospects.ProcessManage the sales team through a structured process to enable predictable performance and scaling.Ensure a comprehensive business strategy for each targeted market, with account and opportunity planning processes executed effectively.Collaborate with internal teams to understand customer needs and develop differentiated business propositions that sell Netlist's solutions.Contribute as a key member of the Executive team, providing strategic counsel and input for overall business strategy.Education and SkillsBachelor's degree in engineering or a technical discipline is preferred but not required.15+ years of sales and/or sales management experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.Experience managing sales teams across national or global locations with a strong B2B OEM focus, including customer solutions, product marketing, business development, and application engineering.Experience selling into CSPs such as Google, AWS, Twitter, ServiceNow, and Instagram is highly preferred.Well-organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.A proven track record of driving sales growth, winning new customers, and expanding market share, especially with CSPs, with revenue growth from $50M to $200M.Experience developing and leading high-performance hunting sales teams that meet or exceed sales and profitability targets. #J-18808-Ljbffr
