Marketing Inside Sales Associate

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a experienced and motivated Marketing/Inside Sales Associate to join our dynamic team at Custom Machine & Tool Co., Inc., a leading motion control component manufacturing company located in Hanover, MA. specializing in timing pulleys and other related power transmission components.This is a salaried, full time, in-office (non-remote) position, with occasional travel to local customers and participation in industry trade shows.The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive knowledge of industrial sales and the power transmission industry to drive sales growth, provide exceptional customer service, and develop long-term relationships with customers. This role requires a results-driven professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for solving customer challenges.Responsibilities:Proactively manage a portfolio of existing accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities.Utilize either CRM software or spreadsheets to maintain detailed customer records and sales activities in order to be able to follow up with marketing materials and company information to support the company’s name and product offerings in the marketplace.Stay current on industry trends, product developments, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.Participate in meetings to share insights, identify market opportunities, and contribute to overall sales objectives.Track sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.Qualifications:Minimum of 5–7 years of industrial sales experience either in the power transmission industry or a closely related field.Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience).Strong technical understanding of power transmission products and applications.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Attributes:Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a manufacturing or industrial setting.A proactive, customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional serviceWe believe success in this role depends on strong collaboration.
