OverviewLuxury Multi-Brand Retailer that curates an elevated mix of Designer and emerging contemporary labels is hiring a General Manager/Store Manager for the Newport Beach Store. The Store Manager works with the store team to help achieve store sales goals and maximize profitability. Through effective management in partnership with the Area Manager, the Store Manager works to create a store experience for our clients that results in sales growth. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for continuously improving and developing your business, the store team and ownership of store responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategies to maximize sales revenue and achieve sales and KPI targets.Monitor individual sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.Play an active role on the sales floor and lead by example in providing exceptional sales service to drive client satisfaction and loyalty.Build strong relationships with clients and provide personalized assistance.Handle escalated client inquiries and ensure timely resolution.Implement initiatives to enhance the overall shopping and styling experience and promote client retention.Lead, develop and motivate staff through clear communication, goal setting and regular coaching opportunities to grow planned business.Create a community by initiating and hosting in-store shopping events.Ensure that each client is offered personalized head-to-toe luxury styling delivering a wardrobe that perfectly reflects their lifestyle.OperationsOversee all areas of risk management, store cash controls, and inventory ventory and inventory checklist oversight (pre and post) ensuring reconciling in a timely manner.Understanding shrink results with keen eye on results and identifying issues.Understand when & how to communicate a facilities request based on urgency level: safety, customer facing and compliance.IT – know “Who to contact.”Partnering with Operations Manager on security personnel.Understand and properly execute all management register functions.Train store staff in all areas of Point of Sale.Partner and support in areas of stock, shipping, receiving protocol/policies and procedures and OMNI fulfillment.Control store expenses and maintain budgets, continually striving to reduce costs.Open and close the store as needed following daily routines, ensuring Banking is done in a timely manner.Ensure all front and back of house procedures are executed by the team in accordance with company Policy and Procedures.VisualsUphold all visual merchandising standards set forth by the brand.Reference floor set images within one drive to accurately maintain shop floor displays.Support in the placement of new product deliveries when needed.Ensure product in store is accurately replenished.Actively recover shop floor and ensure accurate replenishment of product in store.ProductPartner with the Buying & Merchandising team to ensure product assortment is consistent with market needs and sales goals. Host in store walk throughs – biweekly virtual + quarterly in personEnsure all members of the store teams uphold communication channels with merch team.Partner with buyers on relevant in market feedback.Ensure all team members are well-versed and trained in all product knowledge.Marketing & EventsOwn identifying and targeting key clients with charitable groups and/or schools ties to partner with for in-store shopping events.
