You’ll be part of a team that is intellectually curious, creative, analytical, and passionate about performing market research.ResponsibilitiesBuild strong industry knowledge of the biotech sectorContribute to the generation and execution of investment ideasWrite reports/notes on companies under coverageCommunicate with the equities sales force and traders, clients and company managementsInterpret data and perform analysis on market, economic and technology trendsDevelop financial modelsBasic QualificationsPhD, MD, MS, or other advanced life sciences degreeExcellent analytical skills2+ years of experience in investment research, financial modelling and analysisStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in ExcelAttention to detailStrong team orientationPreferred QualificationsEquity research experienceExperience in the Biotech IndustryWorking knowledge of accounting, finance, and valuationDemonstrated interest or previous experience in the biotech sectorAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environmentComfortable taking initiative and being resourceful/entrepreneurialAbility to multi-task and work with numerous teamsSalaryThe expected base salary for this San Francisco, California, United States-based position is [$150,000-$225,000].
