What we are looking for Perkins Coie is seeking technical advisors to join its growing Patent Prosecution practice. Candidates must have a degree in mechanical engineering, physics, computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or similar technical degrees, strong academic credentials, and excellent references. We are seeking candidates who are interested in becoming patent agents and available to work full-time beginning in June 2026 when our program begins. Role and responsibilities From day one, patent agents are introduced to cutting-edge technology and begin developing their legal skills. Specifically, patent agents will work side-by-side with attorneys and other legal personnel to draft and prosecute patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Benefits and compensation This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, personal medical and parental leave, up to ten paid holidays, and family care benefits.
