Associate Attorney - Litigation

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMakkabi Law Group, APC is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. This position will involve managing all aspects of personal injury litigation , from pre-litigation through trial. The ideal candidate will have experience handling depositions, drafting motions, participating in settlement negotiations, and preparing cases for trial.Key Responsibilities :Conduct case investigations , evaluate liability, and gather evidenceMonitor clients’ medical treatment and maintain proactive client communicationManage case files and draft demand lettersNegotiate claims and settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counselDraft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery responsesConduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and expertsEngage in meet and confer efforts to resolve discovery disputesParticipate in mediation and settlement conferencesPrepare for trial , including witness preparation, exhibit review, and legal strategy developmentAttend court hearings, arbitrations, and trial proceedings as necessaryQualifications & Skills :Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive California Bar membership in good standingExperience in personal injury litigation preferredStrong legal research, analytical, and writing skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentDetail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skillsCapable of handling multiple cases in a fast-paced environmentStrong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCompensation & Benefits :Salary : $120,000 - $150,000 per year (commensurate with experience)401(k) with matchingHealth, dental, and life insurancePaid time offEmployee discountsProfessional development assistanceSchedule :Full-time (Monday – Friday)8-hour shiftLocation Requirement :Candidates must be willing and able to relocate to Beverly Hills, CA 90212 prior to starting work .How to Apply :Interested candidates should submit :ResumeWriting samplesSalary expectationsWe appreciate your interest in joining Makkabi Law Group, APC and look forward to reviewing your application.Job Type : Full-timePay : $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearBenefits :401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceSchedule :8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location : In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
