Company name: Roberson Waite Electric Title of position: Civil Estimator Supervisory Roles: No Reports To: Chief Estimator Position Type: Full Time FLSA Classification: Exempt Pay Range: $85,000 – 130,000 Location: Roberson Waite Headquarters, 174 E Liberty Ave, Anaheim CA 92801 Summary: The primary purpose of the Civil Estimator is to analyze RFP information and generate a cost estimate for civil construction projects. Identify risk factors, safety concerns, schedule optimization and value added means and methods and provide support throughout the life of the projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze RFP information and generate questions. Solicit material, equipment, and subcontractor quotes. Prepare bid take off with labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors. Create project schedule and milestones. Create bid clarifications and exclusions list. Attend all civil job walks. Provide input on safety and risk. Support operations and provide technical support as needed. Required education (one or more of the list below): Bachelor’s (Preferred) Required experience: Substation/BESS Renewable Energy Construction Estimating: 5 Years Minimum, 10+ Years Preferred Total amount of related work experience required of a person in order to be considered for this job – 8 Years Required skills: Communication Mathematics Estimating Critical Thinking Reasoning Types of equipment, machinery, or tools (including computer hardware and software applications), a person in this job be able to competently use in the successful performance of the job duties.
