Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Floor Manager to oversee daily operations on the floor and bar, ensuring seamless service and a high-quality guest experience. The Floor Manager will act as a leader, guiding and supporting staff while maintaining efficiency and accountability. This role requires a balance between leadership and delegation, ensuring that staff complete their tasks effectively without micromanagement. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support floor and bar staff to maintain top-tier service quality. Guide and assist staff as needed while allowing them to complete their own responsibilities. Ensure all sidework and closing duties are completed properly by all positions. Collaborate with barbacks to correctly store and rotate beer kegs. Monitor guest satisfaction and address any service-related concerns in real time, consulting with upper management and/or ownership as needed. Maintain clear communication with upper management and ownership regarding operational issues, incidents, and staff performance. Uphold and enforce workplace policies, health and safety standards, and service procedures. Assist in training new employees and reinforcing best practices among staff. Handle unexpected challenges, such as guest complaints, staffing shortages, and operational hiccups, with professionalism and efficiency. The ability to make decisions on the fly within policy is important in this role.  Qualifications and Requirements: Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in hospitality, food and beverage, or a related industry required. A floor or bar captain is sufficient background for this particular management role. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Tech savvy preferred. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending and lifting up to 50 lbs . Dependable, punctual, and highly communicative. A proactive mindset with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Availability Saturday and Sunday 11AM - 7PM, Monday and Tuesday from 5PM to 12AM, and Wednesday from 6PM to 1AM If you are a motivated leader with a passion for hospitality and team-driven success, we encourage you to apply and become a vital part of our team!
