Cultural Center Aquatic Attendant

Provides assistance to swimmers in the event of an emergency and assists with emergency care until medical services arrive.Opportunities with WVC:Tuition ReimbursementScholarshipsWeekly PayTM Events and RecognitionPlus many moreWage:$14/hourResponsibilities:Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe areas.Assists swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid.Maintains order in swimming spects facilities for cleanliness.Cleans and performs daily tasks as assigned.Tests free chlorine (CL) and potential for hydrogen (PH) daily.Handles all laundry needs for the pool, Therapy and Day Spa.Handles schedule/weekend assignments.Qualifications:Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be able to swim and demonstrate adequate swim performance and the ability to tread water in the deep end of the pool.Hours:Part TimeSchedule:Monday-Friday 1:00pm-6:00pm, Saturday 7:30am-2:00pm, Sunday 12:45pm-5:00pmLocation:The Cultural Center of Willow Valley Communities900 Willow Valley Lakes Drive, Willow Street, PA 17584WELL111
