Lead Line Cook with grill, fryer, and prep skills in an exciting atmosphere. At Lucky’s Roadside Stand we take great pride in our award-winning burgers, hot dogs, mak & cheese, tots, and fries. Lead Line cooks perform necessary duties which are essential to our success. Also, will be responsible for kitchen operations, leading shifts, and ensuring quality control. We do our best to create a fun and safe work environment, and our staff is inviting, friendly, and charismatic. We take great pride in the culture we have created over the last ten years. We started out as a local dive bar, and now have established ourselves as a popular destination for local families and residents, in addition to the large majority of our fellow industry workers in the area. We do what we can to contribute to the community as well. We have annual charity events in which we work diligently to raise as much money as possible for those in need. Come be a part of our growing team!Applicants must possess the following: -Positive attitude -Willingness to work in fast pace environment -Pride in punctuality -Strong sense of urgency -Willingness to clean with downtime -evening and weekend availability -dependable transportation (shifts can run longer than buses & trains) -ability to get along with others Our lead line cook responsibilities include; setting up and stocking stations, preparing food for service, cooking with a deep fryer & flat top grill, following all direction from manager, stocking and rotating inventory appropriately, ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, at the highest quality and in a timely manner, and complying with all DOH safety and sanitary regulations.
