Position Summary The Food Runner plays an essential role in ensuring a smooth flow between the kitchen and dining room. This position requires precision, speed, and a keen eye for detail to deliver dishes at their peak quality while supporting the service team in creating a seamless guest experience. Key Responsibilities Deliver dishes from the kitchen to guests with accuracy, elegance, and efficiency. Clearly describe menu items to guests when presenting dishes, highlighting key components if required. Ensure food leaves the kitchen in perfect condition and at the proper temperature. Assist servers in timing courses and coordinating multi-table orders. Maintain a clean and organized service line, expediting area, and service stations. Support table maintenance, including clearing plates and resetting as needed. Communicate effectively with both kitchen and service staff to anticipate and fulfill guest needs. Uphold the high standards of service, presentation, and professionalism expected in a fine dining environment. Qualifications Prior experience in upscale dining or hospitality preferred. Ability to carry and balance multiple plates with confidence and grace. Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
