Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 8am-4pm Position Summary: As a Pastry Cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, breads, and baked goods for both restaurant service and catering events. You’ll work closely with the Executive Pastry Chef to execute seasonal menus and custom event orders with consistency, precision, and artistry. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and bake pastries, breads, desserts, and specialty items for restaurant service and catering. Follow recipes’ standards while maintaining high quality and presentation. Assist in developing new pastry menu items and custom desserts for events. Maintain a clean and organized pastry station, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Manage prep lists and production schedules to meet event deadlines and service demands. Properly label, date, and store all ingredients and finished products. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless integration of pastry items into overall service. Qualifications: 1–3 years of professional experience in a pastry or baking role (restaurant and/or catering experience preferred). Strong understanding of pastry techniques, baking methods, and food safety regulations. Ability to follow detailed recipes and plating instructions with precision. Excellent time management and organizational skills. A positive attitude, team spirit, and a passion for pastry arts. Culinary or pastry degree/certification is a plus but not required.
