We’re looking for passionate, detail-driven bartenders to join our team — people who love the craft, thrive in a collaborative environment, and take pride in delivering unforgettable guest experiences. Required Skills 4+ years cocktail bar experience (6+ preferred) Passion for serving guests and creating memorable experiences Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine Ability to confidently guide guests through our cocktail and food programs Warm, genuine service with excellent hospitality instincts Strong teamwork and communication skills Proficiency in bar setup and breakdown procedures Ability to prepare juices, garnishes, syrups, and other mise en place items Inventory stocking and rotation Menu presentation and food & beverage recommendations Skill in mixing and serving drinks to spec Maintaining bar cleanliness, organization, and safety Adherence to cash handling protocols Solid knowledge of food and beverage menu items and preparation techniques Ability to follow opening, side work, and closing duties Flexibility to handle additional tasks as assigned by management Essential Duties & Responsibilities Participate in all front-of-house training programs and meet training expectations Provide every guest with warm, welcoming, and attentive service Anticipate and accommodate guest needs throughout service Establish and maintain positive relationships with guests Set up the bar according to The Side Lot’s standards Contribute to the development of seasonal cocktail menus Prepare fresh juices, garnishes, and syrups for service Present and explain menus to guests at the bar Provide thoughtful food and beverage recommendations Accurately prepare cocktails to set standards Maintain bar cleanliness and organization throughout the shift Follow all cash-handling protocols accurately Execute all opening, side work, and closing duties Maintain expert-level knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation processes Confidently guide guests in selecting menu items and beverages Perform additional duties as directed by management To Apply Please email your resume to and include a short cover letter that highlights: Your leadership experience in kitchen or boutique hospitality environments Your approach to teamwork, execution, and guest service excellence Why The Side Lot feels like the right fit for your energy, growth, and culinary goals Full-time and part-time positions available.
