OverviewSenior Manager, Tax - Energy and Natural Resources role at Forvis Mazars US. The Tax team helps clients navigate a complex tax landscape with clarity and confidence, delivering practical, forward-thinking guidance tailored to client goals and supporting change, growth, and opportunity.What You Will DoManage tax compliance and advisory services for individuals (Forms 1040, 1040-NR), partnerships (Form 1065), and corporations (Forms 1120, 1120-S) across various industriesConduct in-depth research on complex tax matters, apply insights to client engagements, and communicate findings through well-structured written reportsReview tax return preparations completed by other staff to ensure accuracy and regulatory complianceEngage proactively with senior client stakeholders to identify tax issues, offer insights, and implement practical solutionsDrive client service excellence by maintaining high standards for responsiveness and quality, fostering long-term relationships as a trusted advisorSupport client growth and retention through strategic planning and business developmentContribute to business development by assisting with proposals, showcasing firm value, and supporting client acquisitionMentor and manage tax professionals, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development supportManage resources, budgets, and project workflows to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of client engagementsMaintain technical expertise through ongoing Continuing Professional Education (CPE) and stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changesContribute to thought leadership by authoring technical publications and leading internal training sessionsRepresent the firm at industry events and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and cultivate new business opportunitiesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field7+ years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting, or a combination of corporate tax and public accountingCurrent and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) licenseProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work a hybrid schedule, typically three days per week in the assigned officeFlexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings, including overnight staysPreferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in related fieldJob DetailsLocation: Irving, TXSalary: $160,000.00-$170,000.00 #J-18808-Ljbffr
