Position Overview:Seeking a dedicated Orthodontist with experience in pediatric craniofacial orthodontics.Join Stanford’s Craniofacial service as a part-time Clinician Educator Faculty member in the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.An ideal candidate would hold an Unrestricted California dental license, have completed orthodontic residency training with Board certification by the American Board of Orthodontics, and be competent in treating jaw deformities, facial asymmetry, misalignment of the teeth and jaws, all aspects of dentofacial anomalies both orthodontically and combined with surgery, as well as experience developing comprehensive treatment plans requiring surgical collaboration.Clinical duties will comprise of consults, diagnostic analyses, and devising treatment plans, as well as providing full-scope pre and post surgical care, periodic follow-up adjustments, and retention for non-acute pediatric patients with craniofacial and airway anomalies at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. Teaching duties will include being the primary liaison to rotating medical students and plastic surgery residents for research and clinical coordination.The expected pay range for this position is $250,000 to $300,000 per annum.
