Sales Director – Renewable Energy Sector

OverviewA Global Software / Services company utilizing drone technology to provide Data / Analytic solutions is recruiting a Sales Director for their National Energy vertical. This is a hunting sales role. The ideal individual will have experience selling complex solutions and services to the Renewable Energy sectors, specifically Wind and/or Solar Farms. Some experience in Drone technology and Data Analytics knowledge is required. This is an international position and the Director will target large-scale wind and solar farms in North America and Europe.RESPONSIBILITIESOwn and manage the sales cycle, from qualification to closingIdentify and pursue new opportunitiesDevelop / implement go-to-market strategiesLead the proposal processArticulate the company’s specific technical and commercial solutionsUncover customer pain points and potential optimization opportunitiesPlan and deliver hands-on product demonstrations, including flying drones!Inform the product management and technical teams on market requirementsCollaborate with project teams to ensure all deliverables meet customer needs.REQUIREMENTS5+ years of proven, direct sales experience within the renewable energy sectorTrack record of selling to large-scale solar / wind farm customers.Must have a deep understanding of the solar and wind farm ecosystemMust have a "hunter" mindset with passion / enthusiasm to identify and close businessHave an ability to navigate complex customer environmentsN.
