With fully customizable bowls, scratch-made ingredients, and antibiotic- and hormone-free proteins, Vale has created a premium fast casual model that makes healthy food accessible for everyone.We currently operate 10 thriving locations across Florida (Tallahassee, Gainesville, Tampa, Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, Brickell, Pinecrest, Boca Raton, Delray Beach) and are preparing for rapid expansion.We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our operational strategy, ensure seamless execution across all units, and drive scalable growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll play a pivotal role in stabilizing our operations and positioning Vale for expansion beyond our current 10 locations. This is a full-time, executive-level role based in Florida (Miami preferred), with travel to additional markets.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations for our 10-unit chain, implementing standardized processes to optimize efficiency, food quality, and customer service.Develop and enforce SOPs for kitchen operations, supply chain management, and inventory control to minimize waste and ensure consistency in our health-focused offerings.Lead supply chain optimization, including sourcing fresh ingredients and managing vendor relationships to support our nutrient-rich menu.Monitor and improve KPIs such as same-store sales, labor costs, food costs, and customer satisfaction scores.Drive expansion initiatives, including new unit openings, site selection, and potential franchising models.Build and mentor a high-performing operations team, addressing staffing and training needs to foster a positive, efficient work environment.Collaborate with marketing and HR to align operations with overall business goals.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, ServSafe) and health standards across all locations.The Role at ValeAs COO, you will be responsible for scaling operations, strengthening systems, and leading Vale’s culture of excellence across all restaurants. You’ll ensure operational consistency, financial performance, and team development while driving innovation and growth.
