OverviewDirector of Talent Acquisition & OperationsJoin Goodwin’s Global Operations Team and make a real impact on a global scale. We partner with attorneys and clients to deliver cutting-edge solutions across high-stakes litigation, regulatory compliance, advisory services, and complex transactions. This role oversees and unifies all non-attorney timekeeper functions including paralegals, pro bono professionals, financial analysts, IP operations, and other emerging roles/teams to deliver maximum client value and support firm profitability.We are seeking a visionary leader to shape the firm of the future and redefine how legal services are delivered in a rapidly changing industry. What You Will Do Provide strategic leadership across all non-attorney professional teams, ensuring high performance, cohesion, and alignment with firm priorities. Establish a strong vision and culture of innovation, collaboration, and impact among diverse professionals. Rethink and redesign service delivery by challenging traditional staffing models and workflows; collaborate with attorneys and practice managers to ensure work is done by the right people, at the right cost. Explore, propose, and pilot right-sourcing models, including automation, self-service, and technology-enabled solutions. Maximize client value and firm profitability by aligning initiatives with client priorities and developing metrics to measure value, efficiency, and performance. Drive adoption of advanced technology, automation, and AI to transform delivery of legal and business advisory services. Lead large-scale transformation initiatives and inspire multi-disciplinary teams through change management and innovation. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, or related field) strongly preferred. 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in legal operations, professional services management, or related fields. Proven success leading multi-disciplinary teams within a law firm, corporate legal department, or professional services organization. Deep knowledge of legal operations, right-sourcing, and modern service delivery models. Strong business and financial acumen; ability to balance client value with firm profitability. Demonstrated ability to drive large-scale transformation and innovation. Exceptional communication, influencing, and leadership skills, with a track record of inspiring diverse teams. Energized by redefining legal services delivery in a rapidly changing industry.
