As a client-facing role, we are looking for confident candidates with the ability to work independently whilst establishing a high-trust environment with the client's counterparts.ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions for clinical, biomarker, and real-world data.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Clinical, Biostatistics, Data Management, and Medical Affairs to identify business problems and develop data-driven strategies.Provide thought leadership in data science methodologies, tools, and best practices within the pharma domain.Guide the development of predictive models, risk stratification tools, and patient segmentation approaches to support clinical and commercial decisions.Oversee the integration, curation, and analysis of diverse data sources (clinical trial data, EHR, claims, genomics, imaging, etc.).Ensure compliance with regulatory and privacy requirements (HIPAA, GDPR) when handling sensitive patient data.Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts to elevate team capabilities.Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure scalable, production-ready solutions.QualificationsPhD or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.8+ years of experience in data science, with at least 3 years in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.Proven expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and big data analytics.Strong programming skills in Python, R, and SQL; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.Experience with clinical trial data (CDISC standards, SDTM, ADaM) and/or real-world evidence (RWE) data.Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business insights.Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing or mentoring data science teams.The Application ProcessOnce you have submitted your CV, you will receive an acknowledgement that we have received it.
