This is an excellent opportunity to join Amazon’s innovative technical teams and develop your skills within one of the most progressive technology companies.ResponsibilitiesOwn the technical engagement and the ultimate success around specific implementation projects.Define implementation architectures and provide inputs to RFI/RFP responses.Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know-how on how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.Serve as a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.Provide thoughtful technical design and demonstrate sensitivity to customer needs in Defense markets for cloud computing.Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solution architect community.Learn from, collaborate with, and educate others across the breadth of enterprise architecture.QualificationsBasic Qualifications8+ years of experience in technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in software or Internet industries.Associate's degree or above, or certifications such as CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, or CSSLP.Preferred Qualifications5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.Experience working with end-user or developer communities.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
