Job SummaryThe Technical Solutions Architect exists to provide expertise for clients in performing technical business process management activities. The Technical Solutions Architect’s primary focus is to lead the client and to collaborate with the Technical Architecture team in determining best practices and efficient processes. The Technical Solutions Architect utilizes their knowledge of the applications and tools to guide the delivery team and the Functional Architecture team in order to configure and enhance the applications to implement the processes as designed. The Technical Solutions Architect is the lead conduit between business process owners and executives at the client and the technical and the functional teams to ensure the application meets the agreed requirements.Job DutiesThe Technical Solution Architect will participate in and lead the following job duties as directed:DiagnoseWorks with the Functional Solutions Architect to understand the overall scope and approach for the projectOversees all environment management activitiesUnderstands the go forward set of applications and the integration methodologies that will be employedUnderstands initial expectations as it relates to Data Migration requirementsCollects non-functional requirements for routine jobs and services that will be required as part of the overall solutionAnalyzeCoordinates with Functional Architecture team to ensure all enhancement requirements have been collected and to the appropriate level of detailAssists with the identification and documentation of data migration requirementsPartners with the Functional Solutions Architect on Independent Software Vendor analysis and implementationCollaborates with the Functional Solutions Architect in reviewing “gap” requirements and their high-level design to ensure technical feasibility and approachProvides high-level estimates for proposed enhancementsRecommends strategies for Business Intelligence and Reporting needsUnderstands key performance requirementsDevelopManages the technical task breakdown for all technical deliverablesProvides guidance and support to Technical Consultants on technical tasksOversees all code management and deployment processesDirects the unit testing process to ensure an acceptable level of quality is achieved before delivering to the clientHelps develop the Go-Live strategyValidateSupervises each wave of testing and code remediation until each deliverable has been satisfiedManages the strategy for performance tuningDeploy and SupportExecutes the Go Live deployment planProvides support for a period after Go-Live to ensure the new processes are functioning as expected and change management has occurredFosters a positive demeanor, learning attitude and client service mentality with the teamTravel – up to 25%, as neededOther duties as requiredSupervisory ResponsibilitiesOwns and drives completion of key workstreams by team members directed by project leadersManages project workstreams as directedMentors and develops entry level consultants and senior consultantsEducation and QualificationsBachelor’s degree AND six (6) or more years of technical D365 experience leading projects and technical teams, required; ORHigh School Diploma/GED AND seven (7) or more years of technical D365 experience leading projects and technical teams, requiredExperienceSix (6) or more years of technical D365 experience leading projects and technical teams, requiredThree (3) or more years in one of the following, required:Enacting software as a business process improvement catalystImplementing business process improvementsDesigning and delivering software enhancementsSome client facing best practice consulting experience, preferredLicense/CertificationsN/ASoftwareExperience with four or more of the following development technologies, required:/C#SSRSRESTful API Web ServicesSQLJSONAny additional object-oriented languageExperience with one or more of the following implementation technologies, requiredADO/Visual Studio/LCS setup and configuration w/ F&OADO Pipelines and Build Runs (Software Deployable Packages)D365 F&O functional application knowledgeOther Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong analytical, problem solving, facilitation, documentation, and communication skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent interpersonal and customer relationship skillsBusiness process analysis, design, and process flow skillsExcels at operating in a fast-paced technical environmentKeywordsSales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations, Dynamics F&O, Microsoft Finance and Supply Chain Management, Microsoft F&SCM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dynamics 365 CRM, Microsoft Customer Experience Platform, Business Analyst, BA, Requirements Gathering, User Experience, User Enablement, Data Visualization, Software, Custom Applications, Data Analytics, Cloud Strategy, D365National Range: $158,000 - $197,000About UsJoin us at BDO, where you will find more than a career, you’ll find a place where your work is impactful, and you are valued for your individuality.
