As a Silicon Validation Engineer, the candidate will take on challenges like validating high-speed Serdes, performing system-level power characterization, and troubleshooting complex hardware bugs and field returns. The candidate will regularly participate in hardware design and schematics reviews, firmware development, and building automated test infrastructures for running large-volume post-silicon system-level tests.What You3ll DoCreate and execute synthetic workloads that stress the various functional blocks inside the silicon platforms such as the GPU, Fabric, Neural Network, Camera Interface, etc.Assist in identifying and fixing hardware bugs before productionBring up and characterize Autopilot Custom Silicon and PCBACollaborate with diverse teams in hardware design, schematic reviews, firmware development, and building automated test infrastructuresWrite test plans, develop test cases, and catch design bugs before productionCharacterize and improve power and performance consumption at a system levelPerform Failure Analysis on factory and field return unitsWhat You3ll BringDegree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experienceDeep knowledge of computer architectureMicrocontroller & Embedded Systems Programming Experience in C/C++Python and bash scripting and familiarity with git and version control systemsDesign, verification or validation disciplines, system/platform level debug and root cause isolation, methodology and toolsExperience with Test Automation Framework DevelopmentFamiliarity with Logic or Protocol Analyzer equipment and ARM and/or x86 microarchitectureFamiliarity with JTAG and/or Open OCDFamiliarity with DDR technologies (LPDDR, GDDR, etc.)Benefits & CompensationExpected Compensation$104,000 - $228,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefitsPay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
