Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia (BMSA) is a market leader in the OTR (Off the Road) Tyre industry and is renowned for its global reputation for quality products, continuous improvement and cutting-edge application of technology. Otraco (a subsidiary of BMSA) is a world leading provider of Earthmover & Off-road tyre management services to the mining industry. This role is an Otraco branded position. We have an opportunity for an astute & proactive Senior HR Advisor reporting to the Sydney-based Manager People, Culture & Governance. This role is based in Western Australia (Kewdale in Perth) and will collaborate across the combined BMSA/Otraco workforce. However predominant focus is Otraco's 500+ headcount in WA, NSW and QLD. THE ROLE Proactive HR generalist advice & guidance to business leaders Guidance, coaching & mentoring of HR team & business managers With PC&G, Talent, OD & L&D establish & support the implementation of standardised processes Provide appropriate and timely ER / IR support Facilitate Performance & Reward; Employment & Industrial Relations, & Organisation Effectiveness With HSEQ & PC&G Manager manage workers' compensation & injury management cases Point of escalation for HR team for payroll issues, union queries & dispute handling Support disciplinary investigations, complaint/dispute resolution & matters at Fair Work Commission With Manager PC&G develop robust HR Dashboard of key people metrics (headcount, turnover etc) Maintain currency & relevance of Policies, Procedures & Governance Framework Identify & facilitate business improvement initiatives ABOUT YOU Working within a small team, we require someone with great interpersonal skills, clear communication & strong organisational capabilities. The demands of the role are ever-changing so the need to be flexible is a must. Ideally, you will possess: 5-7 years experience in a similar senior influencing role with sound knowledge of business practices ideally with a mining or heavy industry background Practical experience supporting an EA-based workforces, a bonus if you have led/partcipated in EA negotiations Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline i.e. Humanities, Business/Commerce, Law or Psychology Excellent communication (written and oral) & presentation skills General understanding of Human Resources policies & procedures across the board Highly refined time management skills & ability to deal with conflicting priorities Autonomy, self-drive, integrity & confidentiality Experience representing an organisation at the Fair Work Commission (desirable) Experience supporting an HRIS system implementation or upgrades WHAT WE OFFER Competitive remuneration with a leading integrated services provider; part of a global icon On-site parking A supportive and dynamic team environment; a team where you will be heard & supported A dynamic & successful business dedicated to nurturing its people personally & professionally Numerous financial, lifestyle, health & wellbeing benefits including salary sacrifice options, novated leasing, discounts & support programs Potential for immediate start! #J-18808-Ljbffr
