Our client is an established, reputable estate and probate law firm that is committed to guiding individuals and families through some of life's most important legal matters with compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail. As their firm continues to grow, they are seeking a dependable and personable Legal Assistant to be the first point of contact for their clients. The Legal Assistant will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere in our office. You will manage front desk responsibilities, support daily administrative operations, and ensure seamless communication between clients, attorneys, and staff.Key Responsibilities:Greet clients and visitors in a professional, courteous mannerAnswer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to basic inquiriesSchedule and confirm client appointments using legal practice management softwareManage mail, deliveries, and correspondenceMaintain the tidiness of the reception area and conference roomsAssist with client intake and documentation as neededProvide administrative support to legal staff (copying, scanning, filing, etc.)Maintain confidentiality of client information at all timesQualifications:Three to five years of previous experience as a receptionist or in a client-facing administrative role; one year legal office experience requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesProfessional appearance and demeanorProficiency with Microsoft Office and office equipmentFamiliarity with legal terminology, especially estate and probate law, is a plusHours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to FridayLocation: Clearwater, FL 33756 (onsite only)All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
