3 Accounting Clerk

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking to bring three Accounts Receivable Specialists to join their Pomona, CA team! Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $20 to $25 per hour.Job Description: Daily processing and application of customer payments Receive and sort all payments received from various sources Perform daily lockbox imports Maintain and balance the Excel spreadsheet for all incoming credit cards daily Manage all cash from receipt until accurately posted to the customer's account Research issues related to unidentified payments Process customer refunds related to duplicate or erroneous payments Handle credit card chargebacks and returned check deposits Process adjustments related to cash posting discrepancies Requirements: General knowledge of various banking transactions Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to the details Ability to understand and navigate web banking software Proficient working knowledge of MS Word and Excel Proficient working knowledge of JD Edwards Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field and a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience
