HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the chemical manufacturing industry in Detroit, MI!Pay: $26-$28/hour (0-5 hours of OT/week on average)Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM to start; transitioning to a 12-hour rotating schedule within 6-12 monthsBenefits: Full benefits packageAbout the Role:We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations by repairing and maintaining pumps, motors, valves, and facility systems. This is a hands-on role in a chemical manufacturing environment that requires flexibility as the shift will transition to a 12-hour rotation after the initial training period.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systemsPerform preventive maintenance and support equipment installationsAssist with facility repairs (lighting, plumbing, general upkeep)Work safely around chemicals like chlorine and ferric chlorideSupport plant startups, shutdowns, and emergency maintenanceWhat We're Looking For:High school diploma or GED0-5 years of maintenance or mechanical experienceValid driver's licenseComfortable lifting 50 lbs and working at heightsPositive attitude, willing to learn, and flexible availabilityPIT/manlift experience a plusIf you are interested, please apply!
