Responsibilities Join us in building excellence from the ground up at Texas Health Resource Surgical Center - Forney, a brand-new, state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical center designed to provide exceptional care to our community. Our modern facility will feature four operating rooms, one procedure room, and 12 total bays dedicated to preoperative and postoperative care. Specialties will initially focus on orthopedics, sports medicine, and pain management, with plans to expand services as we grow. We are currently seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to join our founding team. This unique opportunity allows you to be part of the center's opening and help establish efficient workflows, clinical best practices, and a positive patient experience from day one. In this role, you will: Report directly to and collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Lead Surgical Tech to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in patient care. Work across all facets of the operations from sterile processing and materials. Serve as a self-starter who can adapt to a startup surgical center environment, taking initiative and contributing to process development. Demonstrate strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with the entire care team. Qualifications Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Requirements: High School Graduate or equivalent. Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program. Prior Experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred. Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred. Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification. USD $28.00/Hr. USD $38.00/Hr.
