Accounting ManagerPosition Overview We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day accounting operations, provide strategic insights, and lead a team of accountants to achieve departmental goals.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the accounting team and oversee daily operations including accounts payable and receivableEnsure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAPDevelop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve financial processesCollaborate with other departments to prepare budgets and financial forecastsConduct risk management assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsAssist in audits and liaise with external auditors to facilitate reviewsUtilize ERP systems and accounting software to maintain accurate records and streamline processesProvide leadership and training to accounting staff to enhance their skills and performanceQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA or CMA certification preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial roleStrong understanding of GAAP and regulatory complianceProficiency in ERP systems and accounting software, particularly Prophet 21 and EpicorExperience in risk management, budgeting, and financial analysisExcellent leadership and team management skillsStrong analytical and strategic planning abilitiesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsBenefits Vacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommute
