Now hiring an experienced CNC Machinist in Merrill, MI! Trillium Staffing is now seeking CNC Machinists for direct-hire placement! Average Starting Pay Range for entry level machinists $17.55 - $28.00, higher level machinists can earn more! Pay range - $17 to $27 per hour, depending on experience. 2 openings on Day Shift: Mon - Fri, 6:00am to 4:30pm 2 openings on Night Shift: Mon-Thu, 4:15pm to 4:45am (16% shift premium) PTO upon hire, Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits are offered after 90 days of employment, 401K after 6 months Job Functions: -Performs advanced setup operations -Adjusts and checks out programming -Operates CNC machine tools to perform complex series of progressive machining operations on a diverse line of work -Check parts for conformance to specifications -May run more than one unit simultaneously This is a direct-hire opportunity. Qualifications: • High School Diploma • An Associate's degree in Machine Tool preferred • Specific evidence of supervisory training • 2 to 5 years of experience in related position in the machine tool industry • Job Shop or Prototype experience, experience with cranes and hoists • Experience in machining for a very diverse industry base like: Mining, Aviation, Defense, Rail, Shipbuilding, Heavy Equipment, Gas & Oil and Machine Building • Experience in machining large and complex work • Ability to work from blueprints, sketches, and written specifications • Knowledge of GD&T and ISO 9001Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
