A well-established manufacturing company located in Culver City is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative finance department within a stable and growing organization. Position Summary The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and vendor records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment. Responsibilities Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Match, batch, and code invoices while ensuring compliance with company policies. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly. Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers. Maintain vendor files and ensure proper documentation is kept for audit purposes. Assist with month-end closing by preparing AP accruals and reconciliations. Collaborate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to resolve payment issues. Support audits by providing requested AP documentation. Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 2–4 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience (manufacturing industry experience a plus). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar) preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle high-volume processing and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
