This is what we strive to be and who we want to join us in providing the best care possible for patients to help our communities be healthier, feel better, and smile with confidence.We are seeking a Dental Assistant/Patient Coordinator that shares our passion for patient care and education, as well as creating a welcoming environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide chair-side clinical support to Dentists and Hygienists by charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-upDeliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointmentTake and process X-RaysEnter patient treatment plans and maintain filesComplete sterilization processes for equipment and operatoriesConfirm patient appointments and update the schedule as neededCollect and post payments from patients and insurance companiesAnswer patient questions about insurance and financial arrangementsGather patient information, create their files, and verify insurance eligibilityQualificationsCompletion of a dental assisting program, certification as required by the State Dental BoardRadiology certification required to be compliant with the State Dental BoardDental assisting experience preferredExcellent time management and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of dental insurance and explanation of benefits preferredProficient with Microsoft Office products and working with a dental software, experience with Dentrix preferredExcellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to create a great environmentBenefitsAs a valued team member, you'll enjoy a rewarding career with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
