Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) Location: Port Charlotte, FL Duration: 4 months Shift:Monday – Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm & Saturday: 6:00am – 10:00am Job Description: The PSR I represents the company to patients, drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing. They provide excellent patient care, ensuring safety, trust, and accurate procedure explanations. The PSR I follows established practices and maintains confidentiality while processing specimens. Key Responsibilities: Perform specimen collection and processing with accuracy and professionalism. Maintain required records and documentation. Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and employees. Follow all safety and operational procedures under supervisor direction. Requirements: 6 months minimum experience (phlebotomy preferred). Strong phlebotomy skills (pediatric & geriatric). High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification (preferred, required in some states). Customer service and data entry experience required. Must be flexible with availability for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. Reliable transportation and ability to commute within 20-25 minutes. Additional Information: Must list home city/commute time on resume. Reliable transportation is required (no rideshare or public transit). Punctuality is essential; excessive absenteeism will result in termination.
