Under the direction of the Medical Director of the Heart Failure/ Transplantation Program, the MCS Coordinator works as a member of the Heart Transplantation Team by coordinating patient care and by performing relevant medical tasks on the Inpatient and Out Patient Heart Transplant Clinics. The MCS Coordinator ensures that each patient receives high quality and cost effective care; will work with attending physician with procedures, development and institution of patient care plans and performing routine medical tasks. Education Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required Master's Degree Preferred Experience 2 years experience in Cardiology, CT Surgery, Heart Failure, Transplant or VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) Required 5 years experience in a supervisory role Preferred Licenses PA Registered Nurse License Required PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner Preferred '362116
