About the Gwinnett Stripers:The Gwinnett Stripers, Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, deliver high-caliber baseball and vibrant game-day experiences at Coolray Field. Known for developing Major League talent and engaging the community, the Stripers honor local culture with initiatives like Copa de la Diversión and themed games. The Gwinnett Stripers are a proud member club of Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH). DBH was formed in 2021 to support, promote, and enhance Minor League Baseball through best practices, professional management, innovation, and investment.The Gwinnett Stripers are actively seeking an Account Executive to join their highly dynamic Ticket Sales Team. We believe that Ticket Sales is a vital part of our teams' performance, and our Account Executives play a critical role in that success. We are looking for someone who is interested in growing within the sports industry and curious to learn the inner workings of our business at every level. The individual in this position is expected not only to be an exceptional salesperson but also to deliver outstanding customer service to all clients to ensure fan retention and to establish a positive experience with the brand.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRepresent the organization with the utmost professionalism in the communityGenerate new business by prospecting, cold calling, appointments, stadium tours, and attending networking/community eventsRenew all group, hospitality, and season ticket membersWork closely with sales and marketing departments to develop compelling sales programs and components focused on long-term business sustainabilityMaintain a database of contacts and sales progression using TicketMasterMeet and/or exceed personal sales goalsMeet and/or exceed daily and weekly outbound call/appointment minimumsContribute to overall operation by "answering the call" when assistance is needed in another area of our operationQualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 6 months of sales or customer service experienceDemonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships, preferably within the sports industryHave a friendly and professional telephone mannerStrong desire to learn about our business and grow your professional careerAbility to effectively express ideas verbally and in writingPossess a positive attitudeMaintain a flexible work scheduleOther duties as assignedWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.Job Questions:What are your minimum salary requirements for this position?
