**Description:** You will be the Automated Test Equipment /(ATE/) Test Engineer Sr for the Precision Fires Line/-of/-Business, supporting Production Test Equipment and Test Software activities/. Our team is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of production test systems, and you will play a key role in providing technical support, test equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise/. **What You Will Be Doing** As the ATE Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting test systems, providing technical expertise, and driving improvements to test equipment and software/. You will work with a range of technologies, including TestStand®, LabVIEW®, and CVI®, to control signal generation and measurement tools, conduct Environmental Stress Screening /(ESS/), and functional testing/. Your responsibilities will include: /* Works under only general direction/. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions/. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives/. /* Upgrading and Supporting test equipment hardware and software as needed /* Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in/-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems /* Troubleshooting and problem/-solving test equipment issues /* Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions /* Collaborating with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting **Why Join Us** We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated ATE Test Engineer to join our team/. CITIZEN /- This position is located at a facility that requires special access/. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance/. **Basic Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related and at least 3 years of professional experience, or equivalent related professional experience - Experience Supporting Electronics Test Equipment, including Interface Test Adapters /(ITA's/) and Unit Under Test /(UUT/) Cabling - Experience Supporting Software for Automated Test Equipment /(ATE/) **Desired Skills:** - Proficient with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand - Experience and Ability to work in fast based environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience with Verification and Validation of test equipment for DoD products - CAM experience /(IMS, BOE/) is a plus **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration/. **Clearance Level:** Secret **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match/. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed/.
