Trillium Staffing is now seeking an Electrician in Battle Creek for a direct-hire opening! Our client helps manufacturing companies across North America improve their part finishing processes by designing and manufacturing vibratory finishing and shot blasting equipment, along with consumables such as finishing media and chemicals. Position Summary The Associate II - Electrical performs advanced setup and assembly tasks to complete finished products, including machine wiring. This role also provides hands-on electrical instruction and mentorship to junior assemblers. Key Responsibilities -Assembly & Service -Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine material requirements and assembly sequences. -Build control cabinets, wire devices, and assemble parts to create final products. -Measure, repair, rework, and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic systems to meet operational specifications. -Test electromechanical components and verify part dimensions and clearances. -Support production goals by ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. Process & Quality Improvement -Act as a departmental process expert, providing guidance and training. -Lead and participate in continuous improvement efforts based on audits, feedback, and performance metrics. -Develop and maintain procedures to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Safety -Follow and enforce all safety policies and proper use of personal protective equipment. -Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Other Duties -Perform additional tasks as assigned. -Rotate to other positions as needed to meet business demands. Pay range $30-34 per hour. Schedule is Mon-Thurs - 6:00AM - 4:30PM.
