A dynamic family with two sweet, silly, and energetic children (ages 4 & 9) is seeking a Live-In ROTA Nanny to work in tandem with their current dedicated caregiver. You'll be supported by a co-nanny and will help foster structure, creativity, and fun while the family settles into their new life in NYC. The Role: What You'll Be Doing Provide full-charge care for two kidos (ages 4 & 9), managing school/camp drop-offs, pickups, after-school routines, and bedtime. Engage in active, screen-free play (think tag, sports, swimming-not just crafts and storytime!) Support healthy routines, emotional regulation, and sibling dynamics with empathy and structure. Collaborate with your ROTA counterpart for smooth transitions between shift.s Coordinate with household staff, including the family's chef and weekend nanny. Prep simple snacks or light kid meals when needed (though a chef is on staff) Handle child-related housekeeping such as laundry, tidying play areas, and organizing backpacks. Occasionally travel with the family domestically or internationally Ideal Candidate Traits Energetic but calm, with the confidence to set boundaries and go with the flow Experience with school-aged children, ideally in a ROTA/live-in format Background in child development or education strongly preferred A true teammate: communicative, respectful, and drama-free Active, athletic, and outdoorsy (bonus if you can keep up with beach days, bike rides, or tennis!) Emotionally mature, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fully staffed home Health-conscious and aligned with a clean, balanced lifestyle (the family avoids refined sugar and processed snacks) The Schedule Live-In ROTA: 2-4 weeks on, followed by 2-4 weeks off (flexible based on mutual agreement) While the role is technically 12 hours/day, most days include downtime while both children are at school or camp Coverage is required during overnights when on duty All meals, accommodations, and travel expenses are covered while on shift Requirements Minimum 5 years of full-time nanny experience Prior ROTA or live-in experience is a strong plus CPR/First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain) Authorized to work in the U.S. Spanish-speaking is a plus Must be comfortable in both structured and go-with-the-flow environments Location The family is between Tribeca and the Upper East Side-both highly walkable, family-friendly neighborhoods in Manhattan. You'll be provided a private room and bath during your rotation.
