Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $70,000 to $80,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Process accounts payable daily, ensuring proper classification, coding, and approval.Prepare monthly invoices, monitor outstanding accounts receivable, and follow up on past-due balances.Maintain accurate accounting records for the firm's litigation cost fund accounts.Reconcile bank accounts, expense reports, and credit card statements on a regular basis.Prepare financial reports for attorneys and management, assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable inquiries. Requirements: Have experience with QuickBooks and FreshBooks, with proficiency in MS Excel for financial analysis.Possess at least 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a legal environment.Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage accounting processes efficiently.Maintain the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work setting. Qualifications: Display excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional interactions.Uphold confidentiality when handling financial records and sensitive data.Show proficiency in preparing cost and settlement reports for litigation teams.Demonstrate a proactive approach to resolving accounting discrepancies and inquiries.Adapt quickly to evolving financial and reporting requirements.
