Join us and experience what it's like to take pride in being part of a dynamic team that is on the cutting edge.We are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist for a full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00-5:00 position at our Tampa office. Our practice provides comprehensive general and subspecialty ENT medical and surgical care within the convenience of one medical group. Patient care is our top concern, and because we can provide both diagnosis and rehabilitative services, our patients know they can depend on our team for all their needs.Description:This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Receptionist who is multitasking oriented, motivated, able to handle a high volume of patients, phone calls and charts. Must be a self-starter, have EMR and medical records, check in and check out experience and willing to learn all aspects of the ENT and Audiology field. Responsibilities:Providing superior customer service to all patients and guestsAnswer multi-line phonesGreet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information and any other necessary dataProvide patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents.Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits.Insurance VerificationSchedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on Physician and PA/NP availabilityMaintain hard copy patient records as well as the files stored in our EHRCall patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and to help them schedule testing for off-site servicesProvide patients with support and guidance as needed Requirements:Minimum 1-year previous experience in a medical practice. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice. The ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients. The ability to work in a team environment. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Strong computer literacy. The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. Responsibilities may also require the incumbent to travel between ENTAAF offices for support purposes. The incumbent must also be capable of lifting up to 10 pounds.
