Maintenance ControllerPosition Overview The Maintenance Controller is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all maintenance activities for the aircraft fleet, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with maintenance teams, flight operations, and management to optimize maintenance schedules and minimize aircraft downtime.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and evaluate aircraft maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks and inspections.Ensure all maintenance documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including work orders, logbooks, and compliance records.Communicate with flight operations to provide maintenance status updates and forecast maintenance schedules.Respond to maintenance-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.Collaborate with regulatory agencies during audits and inspections, ensuring all maintenance practices meet industry standards.Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.QualificationsValid A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) certification is required.Proven experience in aviation maintenance, preferably in a similar role.Strong understanding of FAA regulations and safety standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.Ability to analyze maintenance data and make informed decisions.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
