Responsibilities Performs activities or tasks in specialty pharmacy services. Performs specialized areas as medicine history, buyer and other inventory related areas, nuclear, and PAP as a pharmacy technician. * Refills and maintains automated dispensing system. * Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the specialty pharmacy areas. * Repackages bulk medications. * Receives and stores incoming supplies. * Serves as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing necessary information. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: * Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred * Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred * Must possess all state and local qualifications Education: * High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. * Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
