Image Guided Surgery (IGS) Specialist (Long Beach)

General Description:Work directly alongside surgical teams to support the use of Image Guided Surgery (IGS) technology. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, comfort in a fast-paced OR environment, and the ability to provide technical support under pressure. Youll set up and maintain navigation equipment, ensure seamless surgical workflow, and serve as a trusted liaison between Coast Surgical and our customers.Average Workday:Coordinate daily caseload upon arrival at the facility to ensure proper coverageSet up IGS equipment prior to surgeryRegister patient using IGS equipmentTroubleshoot IGS equipment during surgeryBreakdown IGS equipment after surgeryUpload records of each case and any changes to daily caseload before leaving the facilityMedium duty work: Ability to move equipment around the facilityJob Requirements:Reside in Orange CountyB.A. or B.S. degreeMedical field experience preferredIT systems experience preferredValid drivers license with acceptable driving recordMust be comfortable in surgery/operating room environmentsStrong public speaking and communication skills are requiredEnjoy interacting and participating in a team environment, can work autonomouslyMust be able to work on weekends and after office hoursBasic understanding of Human Anatomy will be a plus point.Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basisThis role requires access to hospitals. Therefore you must maintain credentials at all required hospitals at all times.
