Our company has offices all over the world where products are designed, developed, and sourced. We are looking for a Graphic Packaging Designer to join our growing Creative Services Team.Role DescriptionThe candidate will combine the creative aspects of design with the technical knowledge of product development, responsible for ideation, designing, and overseeing the creation of new products from initial idea to market launch, including prototyping, testing, and ensuring the final design meets both aesthetic and functional requirements while aligning with market needs and company goals.Key ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be responsible for designing artwork for seasonal products. Role responsibilities include product development, artwork design, packaging mockups, building trend boards, attending sales meeting periodically, creating PowerPoint presentations, conducting store visits/surveys, and having a working knowledge of consumer packaging formats and materials.Key Responsibilities BreakdownResponsible for taking designs from conceptualization to completion. Managing the process from beginning to end.Conduct marketplace research, both online/social media and store visits, to understand consumer and business needs and develop designs accordingly.Build trend boards for the upcoming season for sales teams and buyers.Manage multiple design projects with tight deadlines and the ability to switch priorities quickly.Design seasonal products per request from the sales team and meeting specific call outs from the team and/or buyers.Ability to create mockups in Adobe Creative Suite for sale presentations.Additional ResponsibilitiesEnsure all artwork and product deadlines are met.Coordinate with Sales, Art and PD teams to fill requests.Maintain image librariesInterpret and follow style guides to execute and update layouts.Execute assignments with attention to detail and learn to anticipate the next steps.QualificationsAdvanced proficiency on Mac or PC platforms.Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite3-5 years of experience in a professional, creative environment.Strong portfolio showing a balance of clean, professional work, and creative flair.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration, Art, and/or DesignStrong design sense, color knowledge, and understanding of product development.Attention to detail and accuracy when proofing art layouts.Ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Team player with the willingness to share knowledge and expertise.Willingness to work extended hours to meet deadlines.Capability to travel domestically if needed.**Portfolio must be included to be considered for this position
