Job Title: Investor Relations Engagement AssociateLocation: Indianapolis, IN (in-office local candidates only)Reports To: CEO, Focused Capital(Note - this job listing is for the same position as Business Development Associate - Capital Raiser. No need to apply to both.)Role OverviewWere hiring an Investor Relations Engagement Associate to help expand our investor base and drive new capital into our real estate offerings. This is a sales-forward role focused on capital raising. Youll engage new leads generated through our marketing channels, qualify them, build relationships, and guide them through our investment process all the way from first contact to funded.Leads are warm theyve opted in via ads, LinkedIN, referrals, or our educational content. Your job is to act quickly, build trust, and move them from interested to invested.If you have experience in investor relations or capital raising, youll ramp faster but were open to top-tier sales talent who can learn quickly and execute with excellence.About Focused CapitalFocused Capital is a private equity real estate firm based in Indianapolis. Were looking for a producer someone who thrives in a fast-paced, founder-led environment and wants to play a direct role in helping raise $20M+ over the next 12 months and beyond.What Youll Do:Lead Engagement & QualificationMaintain and expand relationships with current investor baseProspect clients and follow up on warm leadsCall, text, and email new investor leads within hours or minutesQualify for accreditation status, timing, and interestBook Zoom calls with the CEO/Senior Closer or handle directly depending on lead qualityInvestor Relationship & ConversionEducate leads on our process, track record, and current offeringsBuild genuine rapport and follow up persistently using HubSpot CRM sequences/workflows and personal outreachMaintain the Investor Relations CRM databaseOnboarding & Funding SupportGuide investors through registration, PPM signature, and fundingCollaborate with backend admin support for a smooth closeTrack KPIs and identify bottlenecks in the conversion processWhat Were Looking For:1-2+ years experience working for a real estate firm or financial institution or a strong interest in real estate investing generallyProven ability to build trust over the phone and on ZoomOrganized, self-motivated, and process-drivenComfortable speaking with accredited/high-net-worth individualsStrong follow-up discipline no lead left behindSuperb time management skillsBonus: Experience in capital raising, investor relations, or private equity is a major plusWhat Success Looks Like:Average response time to new leads: 2030% appointment booking rate from qualified inbound leadsConsistent increase in soft commits and funded investorsCEOs time is freed up to focus on top-tier relationships and strategyImproved investor experience with faster onboarding and supportWhat We Offer:Competitive salary + bonusPotential for equity bonus on real estate dealsDynamic, fast-paced work environment with high visibilityDirect access to executive leadership and meaningful growth opportunitiesA mission-driven team passionate about democratizing access to real estate investingThis is local in-office only, in Indianapolis, IN area.Candidates who advance to the next round will be asked to submit a 3-minute video intro via a secure link.
