POSITION OVERVIEWWSS is seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Customer Experience (CX) Organization, helping drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for forecasting labor hours, wage rates, and headcount; reporting on store-level performance; and developing key performance indicators (KPIs). Your work will support the development of the annual plan, monthly forecasts, and ad-hoc analysis, contributing directly to the growth of our retail operations.The ideal candidate is eager to learn, demonstrates intellectual curiosity and a strong work ethic, and can manage, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (May include but not limited to the following):Provide analytical support and guidance on key CX decisions using large and complex data sets and recommendationsBuild and maintain Excel models for the monthly forecast and annual planImplementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the store auto schedulerLeverage UKG tools to monitor store labor metrics & attendance to show key findings. Translate data into insights Create Dataviews in UKG in partnership with HRIS and support with training to the CX teamAssist the Database Administrator with SQL script translations from UKGAd hoc analysis, as neededREQUIREMENTSBachelors degree; major in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or Mathematics 3+ years of FP&A experience in the retail industry requiredIntermediate Excel knowledge and experience; advanced preferredUKG, SQL & Power BI experience preferredBasic accounting knowledge and an understanding of financial statementsEffective verbal and written communication skillsProven analytical capabilities & extreme attention to detailAble to work both independently and in teamsCollaborative and develops productive relationships with key internal stakeholdersProject management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-taskEmbraces a culture of continuous improvementWSS is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetics or any other basis forbidden under federal, state, or local law.
