Position Summary:The Sherrington Group is seeking a highly personable and knowledgeable Certified Financial Planner (CFP) to serve as a relationship manager for our financial planning and wealth management clients. This role is ideal for a CFP who excels at building lasting relationships, understands the full scope of personal financial planning, and is passionate about delivering tailored solutions that align with each client's goals, values, and financial situation.Key Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth discovery meetings to understand client goals, life stages, risk tolerance, and long-term planning needsDevelop and present comprehensive financial plans including retirement, investments, tax strategies, insurance, estate planning, and cash flow managementMonitor changes in clients financial situations, market conditions, and regulatory updates to provide timely and relevant adviceBuild and foster client trust, retention, and satisfaction with a proactive, consultative approachAssist in onboarding new clients, including gathering financial data, setting expectations, and ensuring a smooth transitionQualifications:CFP certification requiredBachelor degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or related field7 years of experience in financial planning, preferably in a RIA or wealth management firmStrong understanding of personal finance topics including investments, retirement strategies, and estate planningExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsboth written and verbalAbility to explain complex financial concepts in clear, relatable termsWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageA supportive, team-oriented environment focused on client success and professional growth
