Art DirectorHYBRID: On-site (MonThu), Remote (Fri)Location: Tampa, FLAbout the RoleWere looking for an Art Director to lead and elevate the creative vision of a fast-moving beauty brand. This role is both hands-on and leadership-focusedyoull actively design, art direct, and manage projects, while also mentoring and guiding a team of four designers (Senior, Mid, Junior, and Packaging).The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong on-set production experience, and has a track record in CPG and/or Health/Beauty with packaging design as a plus. Youll translate big-picture brand direction into pixel-perfect executions across social, digital, packaging, and e-commerce, ensuring every touchpoint is trend-relevant and aligned with Gen Z audiences.If youre a creative leader who can balance innovation with brand consistencyand you enjoy being a player-coach who uplifts your teamthis is the role for you.What Youll DoCreative Leadership & Brand StewardshipAct as the Creative Directors right hand, ensuring design quality and consistency across all channelsTranslate brand vision into briefs, moodboards, and final creative assetsLead, mentor, and inspire a team of four designers while fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environmentProvide constructive, actionable feedback that strengthens both the work and the teamPartner with the Director of Creative Operations to keep projects on track and on scheduleCampaign Development & ExecutionLead omnichannel campaign development with a social-first mindset (TikTok, Instagram, Reels, emerging platforms)Concept and art direct photo and video shoots, from pre-production through post-productionOwn the creative direction for new product launches, including packaging, marketing assets, and go-to-market visualsEnsure creative output is culturally relevant, shareable, and optimized for engagementBuild scalable systemstemplates, guidelines, and toolkitsfor consistent brand executionProduction & Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with copywriters, marketers, and external partners to deliver cohesive creative solutionsEnsure all files are production-ready, accurate, and polished for both print and digital channelsEvolve the brand aesthetic in response to consumer insights and design trendsSupport the development of sales tools, retailer assets, and internal communicationsWhat Were Looking For5+ years in graphic design, art direction, or brand creative (beauty or CPG strongly preferred)Proven on-set production experience (photo and video)Packaging design experience and understanding of packaging life cyclesStrong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling, campaigns, and brand workProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Figma and Canva skills, a plusExperience leading and mentoring creative teamsDeep knowledge of social-first content and beauty design trendsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple fast-moving projectsExcellent communicator and collaborator, with confidence presenting workPortfolio required- Strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling, campaigns, and brand work (website required; PDFs not accepted)Bonus PointsExperience scaling a brand from startup to national presencePassion for packaging innovation, materials, and sensory design2D/3D rendering skills to bring packaging and merchandising concepts to lifeKnowledge of print finishes, color matching, and production specs
