Financial Operations Specialist (St. Petersburg)

Our Client, a well known Financial Services Firm is seeking a Fianncial Operations Specialist in their St Petersburg, Florida Location! ResponsibilitiesReviews and maintains documentation to ensure regulatory and organizational requirements are met.Supports business operations by creating, enhancing, and maintaining infrastructure, processes, and systems, including advisor payout and compensation terprets and applies organizational policies and procedures, recommending changes where appropriate.Coordinates preparation of reports, analyses, and ad-hoc reporting for management, including tracking advisor commissions, payouts, and incentive structures.Contributes to the development of objectives, processes, and procedures to improve workflow efficiency, particularly around advisor compensation and incentive programs.Provides clear communication and collaboration across internal teams and stakeholders, including finance, operations, and advisory teams.Balances competing priorities and resource demands to ensure timely completion of assignments.Operates standard office equipment and software applications.Performs additional duties as assigned.Requirements: Understanding of financial markets, securities industry operations, and advisor commission structures.Knowledge of banking, finance principles, and incentive/compensation plans.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.Experience with workflow management, report preparation, cross-team coordination, and compensation reporting.Education & ExperienceBachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, plus 35 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Experience working with financial advisor compensation, commission tracking, or incentive programs is highly preferred.Licenses & CertificationsSecurities Industry Essentials (SIE) required (unless exempt).Series 24 required.Series 7/63 or equivalent licenses as applicable.Paralegal certification preferred but not required.
